Wolverhampton North East MP, Jane Stevenson joined forces with one of her idols, Queen Guitarist Sir Brian May, in his campaign to end Badger Culls. His organisation the Save Me Trust came to parliament today to discuss badger welfare.

Jane, a patron of Conservative Animal Welfare Foundation, said:

Brian is such a fantastic champion for animal welfare and it was great to hear he had supported my glue trap ban. When I mentioned Wolverhampton he smiled broadly and said “you’re from Slade country!”.

Jane also spoke to animal campaigners Peter Egan and Chris Packham about a number of animal welfare campaigns that she will continue to champion in parliament.
